Established in 1984 by President and CEO Ray Thompson, SupplySource has grown into a $35 million company, employing over 60 people. SupplySource is recognized as a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services. The company recently graduated from the SBA 8(a) program.

In the early years, SupplySource primarily sold office products. In 1991, Mr. Thompson made the strategic decision to focus on selling office furniture to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In 1994, SupplySource became the exclusive contract holder for Herman Miller on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Systems Furniture Contract. The company has also grown to represent over 100 other furniture manufacturers.

In 2004, Medical Facilities Group, a division of SupplySource, was created to be exclusively devoted to healthcare environments. Medical Facilities Group offers Herman Miller Healthcare, Nemschoff, Globalcare, and Brandrud healthcare brands.

In 2007, we partnered with SupplySource D.C., LLC which opened an office in Arlington, VA, to support both federal and commercial clients.
